Was able to entice this nice Smallmouth at DV on a superspook jr bone color, had a few other chasers but only landed this one.

South Fork Stanislaus 8-14-2011

Fish South Fork Stanislaus on Sunday from Highway 108 bridge up to Dam, best fishing was closer to Dam on left side.  Caught all Fish on BH Prince Nymph #14.  Here is a picture of one.

The only other interesting site was this log bridge over herring creek.



Fishing Near Strawberry, California

The South Fork of the Stanislaus is running really high, so it was not good.

Drove down to Clavey River, flows were better but all I saw were Rattlesnakes. 

Finally stopped at the North Fork Tuolumne day use area and caught 4 trout off a BH hares ear nymph under a float.  Here is one I caught.
